This will be my first time trying them but from what I can tell they are very well made and I’m looking forward to using them!

My end grain cutting board is beautiful to handle and an absolute value. Even better, the customer service is personable and top-notch; they handled an inquiry I made with more attention than I expected. Will be recommending The Bamboo Guy every time I spy an aging board in someone else's kitchen.

If I need ill buy them again

As a fan of steel from Seki Japan, at first I was skeptical and it sounded too good to be true. When we are so used to something it’s hard to believe that there are good products not as expensive as the one you are used to and I couldn’t be more happy with this purchase. Xinzou mastered the art of powder steel providing the knife with one of the hardest core you can find in the market. The 73 layers are real, not laser engraved and you do feel it in the knife. The knife arrived perfectly sharp and protected individually wrapped in a beautiful box. As any sharp knife you do have to be careful, since this knife are really sharp. I regret of not buying a larger set and I ended up ordering more to complete the set with a cleaver. I read some complaints regarding the handle, but frankly speaking it feels like real olive wood, and it hadn’t get dark, nor unpleasant to the touch. It’s true that I might prefer another finish in the handle, specially for the meat knife to use at the table, but this one are not bad at all and the price is fair.

This is a beautiful knife block. The fit and finish is exceptional. The size is perfect, it holds my 8” chef’s knife, 7” santoku, 4” paring knife, 6” utility knife, and 10” honing steel very well. Knives slide in and out of the slots very easily. The whole setup doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. It’s the best looking thing in my kitchen!

Exceeded expectations. Magnet is very strong on both sides. The walnut wood is beautiful, matched our cabinets. Steel base is quality and heavy, so it won't tip. Shipping packaging was done with care. I would recommend product.

Love them all except the bread knife handle doesnt match. I get that its natural wood, but it is the ugly stepchild and such a different color and texture that it doesnt look like part of the set. They are well balanced and sharp.

Very pleased with the knifes and the customer service!

The blade length is about 175mm and it is sharp right out of the box. The balance point is about an inch from the handle on the blade. In general, this is a lightweight knife. It is very comfortable to work with. The core of the blade is carbon steel and it has developed a patina. The clad is stainless.

I have used it for a short period of time and cannot comment on the sharpening and edge retention.

It's a good vegetable knife!

I had to retire my wooden cutting boards and decide to try this particular cutting board. TOTALLY LOVE IT! It's very lightweight but so far, has put up with my clumsy knife cutting skills. Love the grooves for catching stuff while cutting up meat. I'm already saving up to get another one for vegetables

Absolutely beautiful knives, I’m in love with the Damascus steel and so happy to have such a comprehensive set.
