Authentic Japanese ZDP-189 Steel
Xinzuo partnered with Sanyo Riki Company to customize a three-layer ZDP-189 powder steel core composite steel. ZDP 189 powder steel, developed by Hitachi subsidiary Japan Nippon Shoryu Metals, has a carbon content of 3% and a chromium content of 20%. After vacuum deep-cooling heat treatments, it can reach 65-67 HRC. Knife smiths widely use it for high-end handmade custom knives.
The ZDP-189 steel core is sandwiched between two layers of SUS405 Stainless Steel, which provides anti-corrosion. The hand-brushed stainless steel blade surface provides a protective layer that highlights the delicate metal texture of the steel, giving it a classic aesthetic look and feel.
RAZOR SHARP and Incredibly Strong
The blade is incredibly strong and stable. Its razor-sharp edge can withstand months of frequent daily use with occasional honing rod use. With outstanding sharpness, you can easily slice your meat and vegetables as thinly as you like.
Classic Japanese Octagonal Desert Ironwood and White Bull Horn Handles
These traditional octagonal Japanese handles incorporate novelty into the classic design, Breaking the stereotypical image of traditional octagonal-handle kitchen knives. The middle part has Desert Ironwood and white bull horn at both ends, providing an ergonomic and visually stunning feel. Each knife is hand-polished into a delicate texture, exhibiting meticulous craftsmanship that combines beauty with reliability.
New Design Incorporates Safety Features
These ZDP-189 knives incorporate modern safety features, like the Blade Root. The back has round corners, reducing pressure on the finger during use and making it more comfortable for long-term use. The ark transition at the junction of the Blade Root and the blade avoids accidental finger touch and cuts during use.
This Bread knife is versatile and balanced, perfect for slicing, dicing, and mincing. It facilitates control and precision in every culinary task. It embodies a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern performance, enhancing the cooking experience and inspiring creativity in the kitchen.
